Tonbridge Angels have signed their first permanent No.1 since the departure of Jonny Henly more than a year ago.
Angels had Football League loanees Toby Steward and Matt Rowley between the sticks last season, the pair impressing after joining from Portsmouth and Reading respectively.
They will have their own man in goal next season, though, after landing Jacob Adams from National League Wealdstone.
Adams, 24, came through Fulham’s academy, enjoying loan spells with Walton Casuals and Leatherhead.
He signed for Hayes & Yeading, where he made 56 appearances, before joining Wealdstone, initially on dual-registration, in March last year.
“Jacob comes in with great pedigree and a calmness beyond his years,” Angels boss Craig Nelson told the club website.
“He gives us a real strength in the goalkeeping department and we’re confident he’ll play a big part in the season ahead.”
Adams said: “It’s great to be at the club.
“When I spoke with the gaffer and Vinesy (assistant manager Joe Vines), the playing style and the enthusiasm of which they spoke about how they wanted to play, as well as the environment they want to create, I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of and I’m excited to get going.”
